Magic Program menu is a MacOS Application that adds a "magic" program menu to the standard Apple Menu which will contain entries to launch all of your applications on all of your disks. This menu will "magically" build and repair itself as you use your computer. Your applications will be added to this menu as you use them, and they will be removed from this menu when you delete them. Just install the Magic Program Menu Extension into your system folder and the menu takes care of itself.
IMPORTANT:
Evaluation Period
Magic Program Menu is shareware. You can freely use this program for a 30-day evaluation period after which registration is required. To register your copy, please run the "Register" application that was included with this software distribution package, or visit the world wide web site "http://order.kagi.com/?OTX". The cost is $15 for a single user license. Site and world-wide licensing options are also available. Since this program is a background-only application that normally operates without a user interface, I have decided not to require entering a registration code for full operation. This version is not limited in any way. If you use the program, please pay the shareware fee.
Registration
Registration and payments are handle via a third party called "Kagi". To register your copy of the program, run the enclosed “Register” application and provide your name, address, e-mail address, and quantity. Use the Register program to print the form and send it along with your chosen method of payment to:
Kagi

Visa, Mastercard, check, cash, etc are accepted. Site and world-wide licence options are also available. Web registrations must be purchased via credit card.

Installing the Program
• Magic Program Menu comes packaged in its own folder, complete with this "Read Me" file to help you get started. Copy the file named "Magic Program Menu Extension" to your (closed) system folder. The system will ask if you would like to place the file in your "Extensions" folder. Click YES. Magic Program Menu is now installed and will activate the next time your start your system. Restart your Macintosh to begin using Magic Program Menu now.
• Magic Program Menu requires that you have "Submenus" turned on in your Apple Menu. Open the Apple Menu Options control panel and make sure you have submenus turned "on".
Using the Program
Note: Magic Program Menu does not have a traditional user interface. You can temporarily disable and enable its operation using the Extension Manager control panel. You can manually remove items from the program menu by manipulating them in the Apple Menu Items folder inside the system folder.
• There are no instructions for using Magic Program Menu! After installation, a menu item named "Programs" will appear in the Apple Menu. This menu will have submenus for each of your disk drives, which, in turn, will have submenus for each of your applications. Initially, these menus will be empty. As you use your computer and run applications, they will be added to the program menu automatically. If you move or remove programs from your disks, the items in the Program menu will be updated automatically.
